Canberra Potters’ Society Inc.

Canberra Potters’ Society is a not-for-profit organisation operating out of Watson Arts Centre, serving ceramicists and potters in the Canberra region since 1975. Offering adult and children’s classes with over 1,000 enrolments each year, the Society caters for all levels of ceramic arts practice. Facilities include membership, artist studios, a nationally acclaimed artist-in-residence program, a well-equipped workshop, kiln shed, gallery and retail facilities.

Clayworks Potters Supply Pty Ltd

Based in Victoria, Clayworks supplies potters Australia-wide with clays, brushes, hand tools, raw materials, new and used equipment, used colours, glazes and decorating items. The company will be showcasing an extensive range of pottery clays, colours, glazes and tools at the Trade Fair and will be releasing a new white porcelain stoneware clay body at the event.


Keane Ceramics Pty Ltd

Keane Ceramics is based at Somersby on the scenic Central Coast. Established over 30 years ago, the company offers an extensive range of clays, slips, glazes, and ceramic tools and equipment. Visitors to the Trade Fair will be able to source clay samples, tiles boards, tools and equipment from Keane Ceramics.

A leading European ceramics magazine, New Ceramics offers readers 6 editions per year, profiling leading international ceramicists, and outlining exhibitions, events, books, courses, seminars as well as articles on ceramics education, learning and history.

Northcote Pottery Supplies Pty Ltd

Northcote Pottery Supplies sells high quality materials including clay, glaze, tools and kiln products. It also offers a broad range of short courses, workshops and masterclasses. At the Trade Fair, this Victorian-based company will showcase a range of products for purchase, including Mud Tools, tissue transfers, ceramic pencils and a new batt system in addition to offering information on educational programs and their retail space, SMALLpieces.


Jingdezhen Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute

At the Trade Fair, Jingdezhen Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute will present the Sanbao International Ceramic Working Village resident program along with its exquisite hand-made brushes and decals. Contemporary ceramic artist, member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) and founder of the resident program in China, Jackson Li, will host public demonstrations in making brushes.


The Australian Ceramics Association & The Journal of Australian Ceramics

The Australian Ceramics Association (TACA) is a dynamic and exciting organisation representing over 1000 artists, galleries and ceramic suppliers. It aims to create connections and foster a lively, engaged ceramics community throughout Australia. Publishing a beautiful, full colour, 128 page print and digital magazine (the Journal of Australian Ceramics) three times a year, it also runs nationwide events. One of TACA’s major goals is to help members connect with a wider audience, spreading the excitement and passion that working with clay can bring. Information about memberships and subscriptions as well as a small range of books and DVDs will be available at the Trade Fair.


The Log Book: International Wood-fired Ceramics Publication

A non-profit, quarterly publication with subscribers in over 40 countries world-wide, The Log Book is the international publication for woodfirers and those interested in woodfiring and wood-fired ceramics, be they professional, educator, student, or enthusiast. Intended as a forum for the discussion of the many diverse aspects of wood-fired ceramics, articles are published on historical, traditional and contemporary woodfiring, together with reports on specialist woodfire related events worldwide. This publication is a significant resource documenting the aesthetics, the materials, and the processes of wood-fired ceramics and is published in Ireland.


Walker Ceramics and Feeneys Clay

Based in Victoria and manufacturers of Walker Ceramics, Feeneys Clay and Cesco clays, glazes and colours, the company will offer pottery and ceramic clays, glazes, raw materials and all potters’ needs at the Trade Fair. Walkers Ceramics and Feeneys Clay will also offer new and improved clay samples, for a gold coin donation in aid of breast cancer research and CanTeen.
