Warrick Palmateer
Location
Walyalup/Fremantle, WA
About
Warrick has dedicated more than four decades to working with clay in the
capacity as individual artist, collaborative artist, art manager and art teacher.
Channelling his deep connection to the coastal landscape into his ceramic
vessels, Warrick's art reflects the rugged and delicate beauty of the Indian
Ocean and Southwest Australian coastline. Influenced by his Western
Australian upbringing, Warrick's work captures the interplay of light, shade and
movement inherent in the littoral zone.
In addition to his own art practice, Warrick has worked collaboratively with
Pippin Drysdale for over thirty five years, throwing her minimalist porcelain
vessels and producing world renowned ceramics.
