Talk & review: 10am-4pm Mon 29 Sept

Cost: $480

Perth Studio Potters are delighted to welcome renowned UK potter and author Linda Bloomfield for a special effects glaze workshop.

Over two days participants will prepare a base glaze of their choice (glossy, matt or special effect) and add oxides to form colour blends. All test tiles, equipment and materials will be provided and fired in an electric kiln to cone 10.

During the follow up session Linda will give a talk covering what each ingredient contributes to the glaze. This will be followed by kiln unloading and discussion of the results.

The workshop is suitable for all levels, especially intermediate makers who already make their own glazes and are interested in developing special effects.
