Join us in making WEDGE 2025: The Australian Ceramics Triennale a wonderful and memorable experience for all involved! We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to join our team. Whether you’re a local, coming from across the country, or even if you’re not registering as a delegate, volunteering at WEDGE offers a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded people, build new friendships, and be part of something special.
 

There are a wide range of volunteering roles available before and during the conference, including:

• Pre-Conference Preparation

• Demonstration Assistants

• Registration & Help Desk Crew

• Gallery Guides

• Event Set-Up & Pack Down

• Workshop Support

We’ll work with you to find the role that best suits your availability, strengths, and interests.

Volunteer Benefits:

We are offering Volunteer Passes  1:1 for the number of hours/days you volunteer. These Volunteer passes can be used to access all venues but they do carry the risk that there may not always be room available in all the spaces.

• If you have already registered:
  You have the option of a partial refund on the days you wish to have the Volunteers Pass instead of your paid ticket - this could be anywhere from 1/2 to the full 4 days. As above, transferring to a Volunteer's Pass does however come with the risk of not always being able to see what you want.

• If you haven't registered:
  No need to! Only register/buy Daily Tickets for the day(s) that you want the full, no risk attendance for. Otherwise take advantage of the Volunteer Pass, with the associated risk.

We’ll also do our best to schedule your shifts so you can attend sessions or events you’re most excited about. As a volunteer, you'll have opportunities to meet artists, speakers, and presenters, adding to your overall WEDGE experience.
