Before 10, After 5

"Before 10, After 5: Emerging into the Light is an exciting new exhibition spotlighting 15 contemporary ceramic artists of between 5 and 10 years experience. Curated by ceramicist Camille Reid, the exhibition runs from October 1 - 5, 2025, at the historic Fremantle Church, 17 High Street, Fremantle.

These artists, now established in their own paths, are at a pivotal point in their careers—blending experience with experimentation. Their work embodies artistic maturity and continuous evolution, as bold choices and new opportunities shape their aesthetic voices. The exhibition captures this unique stage of growth, showcasing new ideas, advancing forms, and evolving techniques.

Through bold innovation and the timeless appeal of functional beauty, Before 10, After 5 celebrates a moment where skill and experimentation intersect, and artistic identity begins to crystallise. The collection invites visitors to experience ceramics not just as objects, but as vessels of connection, creativity, and conversation.
