Harvey Amephie-Cook, Oliver Max Taylor, Emma Vedeniapine

DADAA ceramics studio is a dynamic work space dedicated to supporting artists with disability in developing their artistic practice. Guided by professional arts workers, the studio fosters creativity, skills development and artistic growth in an inclusive and collaborative environment.
Harvey Arnephie-Cook is a Perth based emerging artist. Harvey is a self-taught artist working with ceramic and digital art mediums. Harvey has been drawing since childhood, developing a deep passion for storytelling through visual art. His work draws inspiration from a range of influences, including
anime, mythology, folklore, and comic books, resulting in a distinctive blend of dynamic visuals and rich narratives.
Oliver-Max Taylor is a mixed media artist with a focus on ceramic works using hand-building techniques. His works centre discussions of gender, sexual expression, and disability; drawing upon his own experiences alongside investigation of societal norms and values. Through humour and a childlike whimsy, Taylor seeks to delight as much as he seeks to confront, balancing serious conversations with a sense of joy and curiosity.
Emma Vedeniapine is an emerging artist specialising in ceramics, and macramé. Emma incorporates macramé elements into ceramic forms to create intricate functional artworks, exploring the interplay of softness and solidity.
Their recent work explores texture through slip trailing, experimenting with colour and pattern using pigments and marbling in liquid clay. Inspired by organic textures and the meditative rhythms of handwork, their work invites
touch and interaction, celebrating the connection between maker, material, and user.
