Under Fire presents the work of 17 dynamic Western Australian artists working with ceramics who embrace the transformative nature of clay. From the raw power of the kiln to the unpredictability of glaze chemistry, each artist explores the fine line between control and chaos. Sculptural forms echo geological forces, while luminous glazes infused with rare earth oxides shimmer in displays evoking vast, drying salt lakes or reimagining traditional vessels through the lens of digital distortion.
